Universe: never really considered. I would say she is close to the War of/Fall of games which if I understand is close to Prime.

Personality: snarky Introvert, She shares a lot of trait qualities with a cat. she can be friendly and social but other times she will just shut herself in
Reason for Joining: she is mostly a mercenary. She sticks with the cons but it is hard to tell if she is a merc moonlighting as a con. or a con moonlighting as a Merc (I suppose the higher ups will decide)

She was an experimental mech made by humans reverse engineering Cybertronian tech, Her creator was killed and she believes it was an autobot. She fled the earth government, not wanting to be their pawn. To make a living while hunting down the individual that killed her creator she would offer her services for energon/money so falling in with the decepticons was only natural for a merc.

Other: Her Power is Predator mode. Cloaking and advanced infra-red vision. Her cloaking is not perfect. she decloaks when her body is in a state of high output such as, Sustained rapid movement, using boosters, jump jets, using her mega busters ect.
She has an A.I Companion Drone that is a robo panther named Silhouette. (depending on allowance by higher ups, Silhouette is a hacker)

Whats with her name: Her creator had named the Project "Rayne" after a friend of his who inspired him to start the project. After his death when Shadow found out about this connection. she called herself Shadow Rain, because she is just a Shadow of this woman named Rayne.
